funny riff that came out during my last salon: some people have bad project management and they misdiagnose it as moral failure this is like a lvl 1 hero thinking heās a bad person because the first item on his todo list is āslay dragonā and he hasnāt done it yet
you are not a bad person, you are just incompetent former gifted kid types particularly prefer to stew in the misery of perceived moral failure rather than admit incompetence, because the latter violates their self-image
above tweet is a tricksy one because people read very different connotations into the word āincompetentā, depending on your context and background etc. I mean it in a casual, playful way, like a cute baby is incompetent at touching his nose
another interesting thing that happened during my 3hr+ salon was that every 15mins or so Iād find a new angle to return to the riff āthe hardest part of playing long games is managing your psychologyā. And I enjoyed it as a speaker, it felt refreshing & surprising each time
