@tasshinfogleman if you were into philosophy in a serious and practical way, you were always kind of adjacently into marketing https://t.co/JXHl5BtWX4

@tasshinfogleman because the questions of "how should you live your life", "what is valuable and good" are intertwined with the reality of "we are deeply social beings, there are no Others" and "marketing" at its best is about interfacing well with others, communicating clearly and effectively

@visakanv i agree, this is helpful thank youhas me wanting to clarify to myself + out loud that the "suddenly inexplicably" is not quite accuratei've been curious for a while, but it is suddenly intense, and i am suddenly genuinely interested + riveted

@visakanv to some extent that is explained because it's become clear to me that my marketing skills are the bottleneck on all of my major projects + aspirationbut i think i'm seeing that that is true at a deeper level, beyond myself - that it's true for the bodhisattva vows as well

@visakanv bodhisattva vows here being the language about connecting to a sense of service that resonates for me personally but is obviously broader than thathoping + keeping in mind a desire that we can translate between my language + yours

@visakanv e.g. i wrote this tweet yesterday thinking of you and FANhttps://t.co/NLpa5NhVfl

@visakanv in terms of other overlaps productivity + strategy are obviously ambition amplifiers and note-taking is obviously a nerdiness/curiosity amplifier too but the bit about metta is more novel - i'm doubling down on metta for this reason + want you to know why

@tasshinfogleman yea you can see clues going all the way back to our first conversation https://t.co/Eg7M9KggRf

Delicious vegan sandwiches with @tasshinfogleman - being vulnerable in public, how to make friends and allies, allies-in-waiting, content strategy (nerdposting + kindposting + shitposting), managing a multiplicity of needs in a relationship, the paradox/tension of “human brands” https://t.co/yrHKJlNoOS

@tasshinfogleman @pragueyerrr Eg my wife and I have been talking about our different philosophies of security for almost 20 years now https://t.co/OmYbuilF3C

@sonyaellenmann @legalinspire wife & I talk about this sort of thing a lot. she's default closed I'm default open, we've had very different life experiences that have shaped our respective POVs on this. I lean towards "security is an illusion / if they want it they'll have it / it'll keep getting easier"
