It is occurring to me that: 1) I quit my job so I could pursue independent research into Alexander Technique and adjacent fields 2) the course looks like it might generate good revenues 3) I might be able to pay people to help me research? It’s what I wanted but still wild

Incidentally years of strategy consulting is a good way to fool oneself that one would be good at independent research Or maybe I should split myself into client, consultant and reviewer roles and define the work properly

@m_ashcroft Don't let me be a Debbie Downer but at this stage you may be picking the low hanging fruit of revenue. Some of my products have had early surge of sales that quickly tapers, so now I'm conservative with revenue projections.

@RichDecibels No it’s a good point and I’m trying to be mindful of this. But I also expect to sell another 50 spots on Monday and will then build for a couple of months. I haven’t been trying to grow the list, the next phase is to become more legible for the next ring of folks

@RichDecibels But yes my list of 1200 people probably doesn’t contain many more people who want to buy, so I want to hang out with my existing c. 250 students and grow something that will make sense to the next 12000 people
