but wait--there's more! robot friends episode 25: eigenrobot vs @visakanv https://t.co/jQHa7z5zhl

this was maybe the most dynamic conversation I've cut so far. much of this was because visa is an energetic and electric speaker. but, a second reason is that I suspect there is a secret universal brotherhood of people who read a Lot of fiction as kids https://t.co/JAMWjl3LFR

so, much of our conversation was simply about fiction and narrative, and how it serves perhaps as a framework for how people live, and view morality, and how societies succeed or fail; all of this hinging on fictional characters naturally we didn't plan this in advance

i keep meaning to write about this more; as I discussed with @yashkaf a month or two back when we recorded, I see a lot of what we do here as some kind of an attempt to ravel a renewed fabric for understanding, in the face of global narrative implosion

and of course the role of narratives in shaping character and coherence in one's own life is of special salience to me as someone with a brand new Human for whom i am fairly responsible i was very deliberate in building a library for @babymoonbot https://t.co/END7bzfaOj

anyway @visakanv is a gem and it was a delight to finally get a chance to talk with him, and I'm grateful for his time and friendship. he's broadcasting himself at https://t.co/5mrlT9pgrI, and he has an ebook out at https://t.co/EK0lgSdzyd
