Self-congratulatory thread, but whatever. Many/most of you will know that I am building an Alexander Technique course. This is entirely online and entirely asynchronous. To my knowledge, this has never been done. No one is doing this. Many would consider it impossible. But...

IT'S WORKING!! People in the forum are reporting effects that are exactly what I would expect them to be reporting if we were working together in person. The metaphors I'm using so far seem to work for at least some people, who are already applying these skills to their lives.

There are also likely many who are baffled. Even in person, there are some who never seem to 'get' it. I need to work out what the conditions are for people to get it. Later. For now I am thrilled that the concept works, at least for some people. This could change the field.

@m_ashcroft I would love to read a thread where you unpack the pedagogical method you're developing. Eg what kinds of media do you use, what's the user experience like, how much connection (w you or other learners) is included, are there practices, journaling, exercises etc...
