The professor could have just responded to what was presented. She could have just said “nervousness isn’t a problem.” But that’s buying into the LARP.

If I had to stereotype it: [affirming stories too intensely] = liberal circles [ignoring little stories too callously] = hippie circles Both are coming from a place of real need. Lots of people’s stories don’t get validated. Lots of people’s stories get too easily bought.

@SarahAMcManus Where before we acted without knowing we were acting. This time we act, but with just as much heart. We saw horror movies were fake. So we could return to watching them. We saw through gender. So we could play drag.
