I’ve been tweeting all morning, and it feels bad.

Not that the thoughts are bad. But I could spend forever articulating my entire brain onto Twitter. Do I want that?

I don’t even get the artistic joy of wording threads pretty. Do I want that? https://t.co/ata7mXERGI

There are so many good ideas in the world, that if you want to dump more in, you better make it memey. They should be able to dance, entertain, and seduce, all the way back to your ideapartment. This is only right.

Twitter is becoming a medium of salience for me to think. Do I want that?

No, I don’t. I want to use Twitter to /express/, not always to /think/.

I don’t want to tweet if it does not feel aesthetic. If I feel overwhelmed, like I must be comprehensive. Twitter to express, not to think.

I wonder if you can tell. Threads were I’m /there/ versus not. It’s like talking to a person. There can be a sense of whether they’re lose in their head or symbols or still there, aware of the relational space. I’m not here in this moment.

Maybe I want to play Twitter like relational space. Maybe I want to even make conceptual exploration play by the rules of relational space.

Comprehensiveness does not matter. Stay with what’s alive. Remember what you’re doing and why. You’re responsible for what happens. What do you want to have happen?
