What if "battle fatigue" (PTSD) is actually the result of changes among 'food science' and has nothing to do with the nature of warfare?https://t.co/e9XhvRhUSw

Could PTSD be the result of poor quality quickly preserved food and stress **combining** to create a gut microbe imbalance due to 'food science'. The attribution of PTSD to changing nature of battle as red herring and wat we're seeing is stemming from early 1900s food norms?

"Cuneiform tablets from that age served as the medical reference that defined special incantations to request the Babylonian god, Ea to “get hold of the worm and pull it from the offending tooth?”"https://t.co/LlTBQAhOROtiny worms you say?https://t.co/3goAjcs4tQ

Do you ever wash your mouth out with acidic urea to extract the tiny worms that cause tooth decay?Roman dental care was apparently quite effective for the time.https://t.co/ceHGUKhFkx https://t.co/ICZV5m1T20

"It is recorded that van Leeuwenhoek, the father of microscopy, had received three worms in a just extracted tooth—two were dead and one was alive—noting the worms were the same as ones frequenting cheese shops."https://t.co/ARARJ9QGWQ

"For example, Marcus Terentius Varro (116–27 B.C.E) believed that disease occurred due to minute creatures too small for the naked eye to see. We now know about bacteria and viruses, which we can only see using a microscope."https://t.co/Sbh1KaxzfO

Clearly the ancients who professed belief in tiny worms causing tooth decay were unscientific and didn't have an accurate grasp of disease. Tooth decay and gum disease is clearly caused by bad humors! /s

what if military rations meant susceptible people were getting metabolic syndrome due to differences in how they digest carbs, and the lack of sour dough mean high levels of phytic acid leading to gut problems and poor nutrient absorption ala https://t.co/pRYGEDYx4L

<insert rumors about MRE causing constipation>"33% of constipated patients had an anxiety level which can be seen as clinical disturbance and 15% had a borderline anxiety. Based on our results, 52% didn't have any remarkable anxiety level."https://t.co/jmGfF7IRGn

Clearly PTSD is the stress of warfare, and not an immune system issue with a multifaceted causal pathway. /shttps://t.co/3X8tEakaEx

"Findings have not always been consistent in studies of cross-sectional associations between PTSD symptoms and inflammatory markers. A recent meta-analysis demonstrated that PTSD is associated with higher [IL-6, IL-1β, TNFα, & IFNγ] relative to controls."https://t.co/EEEA5Hj2dT

Next you'll be telling me how cannabis strains, particularly those high in THC (an analog to the body's endocannabinoid anandamide) treats PTSD.https://t.co/1psKEmLRXn

What do you mean exercise helps with PTSD?I thought it was all in my head?https://t.co/OefNVeV7XXWhy would doing something that releases anandamide and calm the immune system down help with PTSD? That's absurd. /shttps://t.co/IzKDmcjep9

Looking up alcohol's impact on short and long term memory. How CB1 & CB2 receptors + way the Cannabinoid system is impinged upon by the gut.https://t.co/Z0Fpy2SwIjDoes runner's high improve long term memory? Is Anandamide partly why walking improves cognition in adhd?

Next, you'll be telling me how consuming one of primary precursors for the production of endocannabinoids (one that also contributes to feeding the gut bacteria responsible for serotonin production), ends up protective against PTSD.But muh stress tho. /shttps://t.co/iHI4FmwuJu
