Twitter, what is dating? I have been on many adventures and co-creations of relational art called dates. I do not understand what it means to be dating.

Is dating the period of play between the first date and being in a relationship? Is dating the shared understanding of being interested in more dates and a relationship? Is there such a thing as dates for the sake of it, to make people happy and make beautiful things?

I’ve never felt shy of commitment. My college partner and I moved in week 3 and never looked back. My other 6mo+ relationships, I was friends with them before, and I am friends with them after.

What I want dating to mean is: being in an already loving relationship with somebody, where I already care about them and look forward to seeing them, knowing it doesn’t come with the expectations or future co-planning that might come with a relationship.
