I've done a lot of soul-searching and personal growth the last two years and decided to write down some of the lessons I've learned which make life more 𝑒𝓃𝒿𝑜𝓎𝒶𝒷𝓁𝑒 🧵 https://t.co/Fuq7nDCrOk

the best way to learn is not by spending so much time mapping out a new field, but to just learn learn learn as much as you can. any random tid bit helps. the pieces will fall into place and the connections will be made later

there’s always something to be found interesting. you just have to find the right perspective to take https://t.co/cVT5u2JQOH

keep a list of things you moderately enjoy. when you’re bored and don’t know what to do, read the list and see if you want to do any of them. if not, pick a random one and commit to it for just 1 minute. you'll be surprised at how effective this is

define your own values. but remember, you’re not the first person to live. life is a game and people have written manuals. learn from them https://t.co/a5WJtvhJjt

think about famous people you like. figure out why. write down that trait you like about them. eventually you’ll start to see commonalities which will help you figure out what it is you look for in potential friends/coworkers/mentors/romantic partners

most of your beliefs are probably wrong. most of your beliefs are connected in a network. most of your beliefs can be updated at the drop of new information which can come from anywhere or anyone. expect to change your mind and embrace it

the best mental habit to get in is to notice what you’re thinking. it’s okay to think, but it’s important to not pollute the airways. garbage in garbage out. https://t.co/lolg3f8e3X

We're ignoring so much wisdom wrt how to flourish as individuals and societies. It took me way too long to realize that religious stories, myths, fiction, symbols, etc were all just different packaging for better and worse phenomenological experiences https://t.co/TyHe7jUASj
