Thinking about this again . . . games, Twitter, etc., they have a way of picking up our excess energy in little moments. We never get to build enough of it to really process and digest and happily synchronise-dance our way through life. https://t.co/kcEKMBQjlS

A large part seems to be: When I’m in a loop with my device, notifications come in, this happens, I know how to respond, it can keep me engaged for ours. But without my devices, the loop and the prompts and actions to take are much less clear. Often stressful. What to do!!

Multiple different desires of what to do with free time as much. Each associated with some pain/shame to make sure you do it Versus the ease, peace, and really, deep satisfaction of engaging with Twitter or your devices. Like a video game. A sense of knowing what to do. Reactive
