Thought Broadcasting is real. It's when two identical twins are able to complete each other's sentences, or when a cute couple are able to predict their mate. https://t.co/I923ZbUtnOhttps://t.co/NjRAHn4Exb

It becomes problematic when the self-other boundary is deteriorated to the point where it feels like someone is invading your head. It's basically Pareidolia, but for mind reading. It combines with underlying anxiety into one that expresses paranoia.https://t.co/iIxamQqk0v

I suspect that all the forms of acute psychos triggered by antibiotics, some medications, and sickness (think: fever dreaming), all fundamentally create same sort of misfirings in schizophrenic brains mirroring gaba/glutamate signaling problems in autism.https://t.co/WE265uIcUH

Frames of this show in in Dissociative Identity Disorder, which is effectively the medicalized version of pluralism tied to truama and stress. Low serotonin driving memory formation issues leading to a fragmented sense of self. But it isn't always stemming from that.

If your biology is geared in a way that makes you sensitive to these states, it doesn't have to stem from a pathological space as the pschologist's gestalt would have you believe. An example is how normal it is to create 'imaginary friends' w/out any need for truama induction.

If anything, the trauma I experienced growing up made it harder for me to 'mind read' other people. The self-other boundary becoming rigid. My 'self' was too strong and overpowerd the influence of others on my headspace. https://t.co/RS3wlkYpWX

You wouldn't believe the number of immune system issues that showed up in my genes. Trauma was a fuel, but not the cataylist. They work in tandem and must be considered as a unique response in an individual. So my disposition was enhanced by underlying biology. Nature & Nuture.

I grew up afraid of looking people in their eyes. Only a handful of people didn't trigger that effect. Mostly family. A girl I had a crush on. Close friends. If I had to guess, its basically anyone who induced a trust bond and let my brain get oxytocin. https://t.co/foeMRGzxvd

We need more studies on oxytocin's role in immune function. But I digress. https://t.co/LqlmmFEGAG

I've been able to read peoples eyes in past 2 years after realizing that's was the underlying issue. Fixing my immune system & vagal function to unlock gut-brain axis. I was able to undo ~30 years of mindblindness & eye aversion. Shyness itself evaporated. https://t.co/TStKPOtTxz

That stark divergence from my normal to this new state... It feels like I can read peoples minds. Having more insight into their state of being makes it easier to see their hidden workings and I can predict them better.for better or for worse.https://t.co/6ddnw1FKTK

Replicating leading theories of neuroscience using gut microbes, like one does.https://t.co/Vg2jd8uj8v

"Those with autism reported three times more of these unusual experiences than typical people. [...] 63 percent of adults with autism answered yes to the question: “Do you ever feel that someone is touching you, but when you look, nobody is there?"https://t.co/KACvs8DxIQ
