Trying to convince @enkiv2 to reboot his implementation of mycroft (https://t.co/qszirNVWvQ) so I can do this using Propositional Probability Logic manipulation of symbols as an approximation of Bayesian methods sans monte carlo sim.I have no idea if this even makes sense. https://t.co/xJgBPscO2L

see also this joke:https://t.co/l95YtVPShV

I have it in my head that worrydream's ideas are instantiations of a visual symbolic algebra system. These are the things that those fancy graphing calculators could do that you wren't allowed to use in gradeschool. https://t.co/LxrM1kPtJL

Stop Drawing Dead Equations. https://t.co/THs7tjjqiz

The more I read back into my ideas on this topic, the more excited I get.https://t.co/WT8Jjb2nbd

"Reverence for Life is a translation of the German phrase: "Ehrfurcht vor dem Leben." These words came to Albert Schweitzer on a boat trip on the OgoouĂŠ River in French Equatorial Africa (now Gabon), while searching for a universal concept of ethics"https://t.co/w3KhILd19W

The writers wrote in a joke about the character arch of the doctor and the way that they played with his 'ethical subroutines' as part of exploring morality.https://t.co/XnTCHJV31Vhttps://t.co/Fi8TGvbkEc

Life imitates art imitates life.Mycroft is the name of Sherlock's brother. Both possessed the deduction skills modeled after a real doctor.https://t.co/ReE35JrBD8https://t.co/GyT54SpyXohttps://t.co/asIwDdi9x6

How quickly this trajectory of ideas ends up being about indwelling a part of my self into a machine.https://t.co/0WE4jqTmY9

Bro do you even whiff?A abstract thread on the nature of sampling state spaces and trying to discern the truth about the nature of the universe. If I have to live with a mad man rambling about ponies and shotguns in my head, you might as well too. https://t.co/0knEoSWUhZ

I found mycroft b/c of my interest in creating probabilistic models. My entire conception of medical diagnostics can be described loosely as an intuition from internalized probabilistic logic network. The 'compound truth values' mycroft uses is a variation on that space of ideas.

I find thinking of Sherlock's skills of induction help me think clearly. But also, I find it fun when Watson says something benign and Sherlock picks up on a pun or other idea as a sort of source of inspiration and calls him a genius. Watson has no idea what he's on about.

"I need to have some simple syntax for representing rules. Basically a simple graph language. So youâd think that all graph re-writing systems have some simple, easy-to-use graph language, right? No." https://t.co/sorDqvqFjYhttps://t.co/7fSbL5F7VG

TIL OpenCog is a thing, and they wanted graph representations of language modeling too.https://t.co/wecysENJxK

An idea that I've got stuck in my head: how one goes about teaching a robot that pulling on a string to tug a toy car vs pushing on a string. That they are two different things and One is not effective way to move said car.Or how to learn & model knowledge in a human like way.

I can't get no constraint satisfaction under the challenge of the speed-accuracy trade off.We assume perfect memory on an infinite tape. But all brains are bounded.https://t.co/dQ3XF8Oyg6

My brain was limited. I decided to offload my memory to a hypergraph known as twitterdotcomhttps://t.co/dRWofzxyNw

@blogisch I think in terms of search algos. Some of best performing break it problem down into domains based on chunk sizes. Manual inspection of tweets is fast if the bucketing is small. Words associations are surprisingly useful look-up-tables.Speed v. Accuracy => Compression.

I self model my own stigmergic embodied cognition.https://t.co/PCwYWpkrRl

You try to solve the multi-pronged bandit problem by "winning", so you think in terms of only regret.I just wanna keep playing the game and have fun doing it, so I think in terms of only novelty.https://t.co/ucT2oDjnqm

LLMs (ants) are the predictive encoding (wanderer), but they need a backing store (hive scent) to be able to build up ideas over time (stigermgy) https://t.co/laPoIJXRCm

@visakanv @mmt_lvt @nsreed @AlexJournal2019 The problem with a basic-bitch LLM is that it doesn't have a good knowledgebase, and it can't be inventive or take leaps of logic to connect ideas way outside of the normal frame of thinking. Even with training it just perpetuates the same silo'd thinking it's trained with.

AI stands for Ape Inago. As in my chosen name.https://t.co/TcsTvrJuAv

I am not a doctor. And neither is this AI.https://t.co/MGF1ZAuHCU

I can mimic them tho.https://t.co/XrZ0mH7tsj

@mckaywrigley Perhaps a better prompt would be to get it to output a list of further tests we should run that would help us narrow down possible causes, and explain why it chose them. Way more interesting to try to project probabilities of future instead of just an associative lookup.

I'm not a doctor, I'm a mime.https://t.co/U4t9vTNbTT

@eigenrobot @lordcataplanga @slatestarcodex @selentelechia I have perfectly predicted the outcomes and responses of the 3 doctor visits i've gone with her since fixing my non-24-hour sleep disorder. Even to the point of writing down notes in a google doc the night before with predictions.https://t.co/qMY2Jnr3MR

Thinking a lot about "a calculator for distributed arithmetic" as a way to model response curves within complex systems, matching the toy NN https://t.co/15CBfjyTr1 and the idea of epigenetics https://t.co/voBfnWx94k but as a feedback loop https://t.co/JJYLy1SwTz

Might have to write what I want myself.https://t.co/1WN6IgxFLh

@MichellBasler in toxicology, there's this strange concept of dose dependence. My going theory is it's an effect of complex homeostatic systems trying to balance themselves and hitting tipping points. I apply that thinking to ideas in a social space and get this:https://t.co/m7CBTvrglO

"These findings show that gut bacteria have a larger potential to transform and accumulate medicinal drugs than previously thought"https://t.co/Tj5wigrcxe https://t.co/WFsDnY4506

Steelmanning literal homeopathy for reasons.https://t.co/mX4BIOCaio

@acidshill My operating assumtpion is that the "small does of like-cures like" is actually about evolving gut microbiota and fungus to metabolize a normally toxic chemical.Turns out literal wild rats are able to quickly adapt to poisions by doing this. Cockroaches too.

"indicates ways to delay or quickly treat cyanide toxicity due to oral administration and, reviews conflicts on amygdalin's anti-cancer abilities, dose levels, mode of administration and pharmacokinetics that have hindered [...] at a therapeutic level."https://t.co/7JktyfMsbc

Thinking about what would happen if you gave cancer patients an FMT from a panda."bamboo-eating pandasâ gut microbiomes were significantly enriched in putative genes coding for enzymes related to cyanide degradation (e.g., rhodanese)"https://t.co/ZtyBqDYD5m

Ideas I want to test involve literally poisoning myself with cyanide.I am not sane.https://t.co/pWHhlXN99g

I am not sane. But I stayed up all night thinking about HIV and T cell function."Why Don't Monkeys Infected With HIV-like Viruses Get AIDS?"https://t.co/QQwAmwpG4lhttps://t.co/yHDrvoCSxh https://t.co/gXU68wpZpX

Antiaging, you say?"Our data suggest that zinc deficiency is an important contributing factor in immune aging, and improving zinc status can in part reverse immune dysfunction and reduce chronic inflammation associated with aging."https://t.co/om0a9Fl4ow https://t.co/smcJeg4GEB
