@AskYatharth The terrible things that happen to children in that series 😱....... I held out thinking everything would end up ok, but I guess that’s just straight up denial.

It mattered to me, because other adults felt like they were handing me safety ideologies. I wouldn’t get hurt (and they wouldn’t have to think about it beyond that) . . . But it was isolating. https://t.co/VqhXGKRjM6

Sure, I would be safe, but 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮. And so: those adults did not feel on my side. Imagine feeling that as a kid.
