the meaning can't live in the words, because anyone can *say* the words, even if they don't mean it theres a rut I can get stuck in, trying to "avoid sounding fake". A cynical attitude towards authenticity eventually removes ALL things you could say and forces you into silence

any sentence i can say that expresses an authentic truth about myself, could be copied and said by someone else early cynicism, u noticing bullshitting, and going "ug so that phrase is meaningless" and you strike it from things you'll ever say because "you aren't fake like them"

but at some point you might get the meme "honestly, have you seen all those losers acting cynical towards everything because they think it makes them seem cool?" ... oh fuck, now you can't express your cynicism, because IT doesn't mean anything EITHER!

good thing that can come from this: you develop a bias towards action and *doing* things instead of saying things bad thing that can come from this: you give up ever trying to communicate because "WHAT IF YOU SOUND LIKE THOSE POSERS?!?!?!"

funny enough, this aversion to saying words u think r fake is rooted in seeing words as the only real thing if you think it IS the case that your linkedin bio is someone elses entire conception of you. and you can't stand someone having the wrong conception, so u say nothing
