@visakanv curious how you relate to "city-state" as a metaphor! if you were European I would be thinking Athens but ofc you live in the most clear contemporary example of a city-state so surely that affects your sense of the meaning of the term https://t.co/DGd10g6RxR
@Malcolm_Ocean i'm mostly just thinking about it in terms of the focus on quality people. a city-state is small enough that governance can "just work", bc it's so intertwined with the population. I don't want 1b followers, I want 1,000 of the best friendly ambitious nerd friends
