🎉 Excited to finally share what's been on my mind for almost a month now. Auralite is a new social network built for people. It's mindful of your attention and your privacy. It's gonna be great. Learn more and sign up for early access 👇 https://t.co/YhIGRfddAW

There are many things wrong with social networks today (disinformation, harassment, privacy, etc.), but the main issue is that they have no real incentive to fix any of these things. The more data they collect, the more ads they can sell, and the more revenue.

Controversial posts mean more engagement, and thus more revenue they can get from ads. With Auralite, I want to make something for the actual people that will be using it. In fact, to ensure our interests are always aligned with our users, they'll be the ones driving our revenue

The website includes the main things I want to be different, but there are many other things I want to add. I'll be sharing them as I build them publicly here (on Twitter) and on my Auralite profile, which I'm already working on.

A beta version of Auralite is already up, and I'll be inviting some people soon so that they can help me prioritize what to build. By forcing myself (and others) to use it every day, I expect to build something that's really made with users in mind.

I could go on and on, but I'm gonna leave it here and continue when there's more to be shown. Until then, you can get into our early-access list from our website. We plan to use it both for sending you updates and getting feedback to make Auralite better. https://t.co/YhIGRfddAW
