As promised, I've added a new graph to Twitterverse: https://t.co/waGp0I0vYo Rats, etc: 'rationalist', 'post-rationalist', 'critical rationalist', 'meta-rationalist', etc accounts. Generally, these are accounts who know what SlateStarCodex and LessWrong are. https://t.co/Qo1OYAtmUm

Dodger blue: @DeityOfReligion @DiscipleOfOrder @ProofOfLogic @St_Rev @drethelin @niftierideology @Aelkus @AuerbachKeller @CTZN5 Includes all the weird-sun accounts, and more. Not sure what unifies that "and more" part, but they appear to be central https://t.co/q7TIBkgFPD

Dark tangerine: Also central. Some of these accounts appear to be core postrat (to me at least) @literalbanana @eigenrobot @sonyasupposedly @nosilverv @ResonantPyre @metadiogenes @mechanicalmonk1 @mauve_sky @XmasTreeTara (rip?) https://t.co/j7NEgvij4r

Dark tangerine, cont'd. Grouped view: @goblinodds @maladrift @Thinkwert @liminal_warmth @GeniesLoki @lehoczkyescobar https://t.co/1hYxGaa3rp

Of course, there is a ton of overlap between all these groups. But, in particular the dodger blue and dark tangerine appear to overlap a ton in my opinion. In the 2D graph they appear kinda disparate. But, if you look at 3D they're adjacent. A realistic case where 3D excels https://t.co/bmc2rTTPR2

Deep sky blue and liver both appear to be meditation-interested. One subset of the liver maybe being deeper into Buddhism in particular. @maybegray @harlequinean @temujin9 @Triquetrea @Aryeh___ @DougTataryn @celestialboon @maltybegray https://t.co/PnwWPSTXmI

Grouped view for deep sky blue and liver. Kinda interesting that @QiaochuYuan @Malcolm_Ocean @tasshinfogleman are right here but are torch red, which appears to be a sort of catch-all techy, start-up cluster https://t.co/FNTwrZwcEJ

When I brought up the idea for making this graph I was reminded to include the critrats. They indeed show up clearly (huddled around @DavidDeutschOxf, of course) @reasonisfun @ToKTeacher @TCSphilosophy @_FitCrit @ernsterlanson @Crit_Rat @dela3499 @DoqxaScott https://t.co/IbnTRheISM

I thought I would try out something new with this one to keep things fresh https://t.co/vTUIK0EPBm

In addition to the above, I also experimented with "link prediction" for this one. In a social network context "link prediction" basically corresponds to who-to-follow recommendations. I'll post the results of that tomorrow. Rat matchmaking will commence.

These were the 25 seed accounts, btw https://t.co/3voSy1FK1G

Btw, this is a periphery group but I'm curious about them Brown orange: https://t.co/k9mISiIBUh, ??? @tobyshorin @kneelingbus @AREdotNA @_callil @matdryhurst @David_Rudnick @DnlKlr @keikreutler @geomorphologies @matildepark_ @galenwolfepauly https://t.co/I1KYoTEqxE

@MenanderSoter Oh no. Chapman and VGR and Aella... Am I... Am I a post rat? Oh God, I'm a post rat! I knew this day would come, when my will could no longer keep the ancient curse in check. Goodbye clear daylight, hello nebulous shadow.

@MenanderSoter @QiaochuYuan @tasshinfogleman Ha! Neat to see @jim_rutt, @NoraBateson & @cognitivepolicy all in the same circleβthe 3 of them are all featured in this Apr8 video! (Not talking directly to each other; @WisdomRebel interviewed each of them then edited it together.) Well worth watching. https://t.co/dxweqX02Y6

@MenanderSoter @TylerAlterman Hey @adamdangelo, it turns out we're network neighbours on the Twitter "supergraph" π I think this is a sign I should contribute more on @Quora! https://t.co/BhEjxnT4Fu
