I’m very inspired by Miles Davis’s approach to creativity and collaboration. People often assume that this sort of guy must have a huge ego and be really selfish, yet you can see that he had this amazing sense of how to nourish creativity in others, and they loved him for it https://t.co/m33aEnD79l

there's a kind of popperian paradox – I think you need a strong will to assert yourself to create and sustain a space where people can play and improvise freely. I think people tend to struggle with this duality; too much chaos or too much order. there's a sweet spot in between
