One things I've learned is that compression of ideas is relative to the community you're speaking to. Its easier to compress an idea down if you can assume a lot about another person's perspective, or have an inkling on what to say to them to inspire certain thoughts to resonate.

To some people, that idea could just be compressed as "leveraging inferential distance to map a shared idea space". The neat thing about the internet is that curious people will google search "inferential distance" and so the compression is free.

Under my strange lens, I view words & sentences as primitive idea networks. Each word is a conceptual link to series of 'tweets' (memes, thoughtforms?) that already live in your head. i'm quote tweeting concepts, assuming it will resonate an idea networks already in your head.

When I get anxiety during the day, then burn out, my brain seems to enter a fugue state. If I force myself to stay up despite the exhaustion some later point I hit same mental state as when I am sick, & everything is super vivid in my head. Not sick, but I am tired(?)

I also don't feel 'fast', not like when I have a fever.I wonder if I simply didn't eat enough, or if this is some kind of response to extra carbs from dinner. Will be interesting to explore my tweets tomorrow and inspect them for grammar and spelling snafus.

I can't find thread, but I have a tweet about how I do all my best work when i'm avoiding stuff. Is a comment on how my anxiety drives me into a weird displacement activity where I calm down by doing research / learning and then start channeling my muse.https://t.co/7sIcqXKxxc

Learning makes me think about dopamine.and it annoys me that I still can't find that weird brain cell that we found (in parkinson's?) that suggests it can shift between generating serotonin and dopamine in a dose-dependent response.Autism's hyper focus is dopamine based IIRC.

Everybody's like"put down the internet you're using it as displacement behavior you sinner!"And I'm like"fuck you the displacement behavior is literally how I got a job."https://t.co/vvJVKWlh5hIn fact I might do all of my best research during anxiety driven fugue states. 😎

Twitter is a tool where Baader-Meinhof illusion is reinforced by echo chambers, combines with spread of information among networks, and all merges into amusing observation about how fractals seem to be trending... So I reinforce it by retweeting insight porn on fractals.
