Hey, how's this for autism 'awareness' month: some percentage of you who are reading this tweet are #actuallyAutistic and aren't aware of it. I'm going to post a bunch of questions I wish I had been asked in this context, years ago. This is not diagnosis! But it's instructive.

Quick thread on coincidences, synchronicity and magic. I think it was Gordon White who defined magical practice as working to maximize the number of meaningful coincidences in life. Coincidences are powerful, in a way that's hard to understand at first.

Every time I tell someone I'm self-diagnosed #actuallyAutistic it's a roll of the dice - no matter how well they know me, how intelligent they are (and know me to be), how little they know about autism, there are good odds they'll caution me against self-diagnosis.

You know, I'll never forget something that happened in 8th grade. I was getting bullied in the locker room after gym class - which was not unusual. But that day, this more popular dude spoke up and defused it. He made them stop with a kind word and a smile, felt like magic.

1. Tinder for curating your twitter follows. Show me the user's most recent 5 tweets, top 5 fav'd tweets and last 5 tweets I fav'd or RT'd. Show me a brief analysis of their emotional content over time - are they positive? Angry? Summarize their unique topics. Swipe left/right.
2. A Twitter User Recommendation Engine. Using a lot of the same tools described above, give me a way to do a mini-thread promoting someone else's twitter account. Like a three-tweet thread - "I follow X because Y and Z, here are some of their best tweets, here are my favs."
3. I have a schema for federated immutable data that I really want to build on top of something like lowDB. In a system like glitch any given app could have its own local instance, and glitch apps using the same system could sync data between them while retaining data provenance.

1. Do you know the story of the monks who made mead in the alps in the 1400s? It was in the Sacra di San Michele outside of Turin. The situation was that there was this abbey that produced this amazing mead from the honey of the wildflowers that grew in the area.
