Took me years to learn this, and you can actually decide to do it in an instant https://t.co/5D7fXwKhYE

In my experience, editing the language you use to talk about you is one of the highest ROI activities there is. If you straight up ban yourself from talking shit about yourself, you almost start becoming more interesting just so you have something to say https://t.co/S3qZxPf0Fh

@drtime_ Never describe your work as “uncool”, “no big deal”, “kinda shitty”, etc

And you don’t even need to *change* to be more interesting! You’re already interesting! Once you ditch the self-diminishment, you can start finding out the details. And focusing on the details helps you develop your taste, which makes you more interesting still

This clip of Christopher Reeve transforming from Clark Kent into Superman is an amazing example of Alexander Technique and non-doing. Seriously, watch it. He doesn't haul himself up, he floats up to his full height effortlessly. How? https://t.co/zyWcITJnzg 1/

@visakanv This was fun to come across in a random walk. Must have missed it in Feb.

@visakanv Nice, that really fits. Why would Superman need to make any effort at all to look like Superman.

@visakanv Relevant video. You can't 'do being yourself', but you can stop doing all the things that aren't (or could say 'block') yourself and allow your authentic self to emerge. It will be mysterious to you, but/so it will also be much more powerful. https://t.co/6x4pVDCjAW

@visakanv Yeah I have big ambitions which I have not completed yet. Easy to take the posture of 'disappointment' when I would be better served by 'accomplishment'. Long path, many steps.
