Summary: positive correlation between working memory and ability to work through relationship challenges. Makes sense to me! Important to keep an open mind about how much of this is fixed vs changeable. https://t.co/Mayaoyo7gV

I've seen profound transformations in people's apparent intelligence, including working memory etc, based on stress levels, mindset, scarcity, etc. (To all of the evbio folks out there, I'm not denying that there are are genetic diffs too. Ofc there are, but how does that help?)

Fantastic book called Scarcity by Eldar Shafir & Senhil Mullainathan (@m_sendhil) summarizes a bunch of studies showing how much worse people are at thinking when experiencing scarcity (as mindset or as chronic or acute situation). https://t.co/V7kL1IEtn3

Major question for me atm is how to create contexts where people can access more of their intelligence together. Making substantial headway on it, including for myself. It's amazing to see people unfurl and blossom, and yeah, it has a profound effect on relationship quality.
