why were 90's cartoons intro themes so damn good? https://t.co/AZWm6Qjjpv

I mean, the MCU has been pretty great, but I don't think anything about it slaps nearly as hard as the 90s X-Men cartoon intro https://t.co/FfAoy3Ps2a

@visakanv I think itβs because the 90s were the pinnacle of old school production techniques before everything was computer based? Practical effects in movies were wonderful too. Then we restarted everything from scratch with digital tools.

The Ghostbusters starts out kinda chill, but when you get to the 30 second mark β the melody, the descending bass notes, (one note hits deliciously earlier than you expect it to), then the harmony on top... so sick https://t.co/QE3KvxyXMX

the Batman cartoon had *ludicrously* good aesthetics. Arkham Asylum, Christian Bale, Batfleck, all trash in comparison https://t.co/qvjpgg5jrF

Iron Man, also bangin' https://t.co/rL8YzwEKHM

So Spider-Man is an interesting one. I'm seriously digging the flanger and phaser effects on the guitar, and at the time it must've been a baller remix on the earlier, cutesy 60s theme. But I think Spidey has been improved since β the PS4 game & Homecoming have better aesthetics https://t.co/HtFi2SWGYe

If you made a movie trailer in 2019 that's almost literally a frame-for-frame remake of Double Dragon, it would be so fresh and intense. The pacing is something else altogether https://t.co/TOZaHxhSOz

@visakanv oh man you didn't mention one of the best ones https://t.co/6GEc3fs2MA

@visakanv also reminded me of this show that i liked where someone just randomly slapped together two things that small boys love and made a cartoon about it https://t.co/D6XNE2hw8S
