Around 1500, Alvise Cornaro was so ill he thought he was about to die. He was in his mid 30s. On the advice of a physician, he cut his food intake to one meal daily, including meat, eggs, cheese, bread, and wine. He returned to health and lived to the age of 102. https://t.co/evzbantx5S
