Someone once asked me “what do kids DM/email you about” and I surprised myself at how quickly and easily I was able to articulate their FAQs. Being sensitive and kind has made me *significantly* smarter, because it’s given me access to information and perspectives that people actively avoid sharing publicly. I know so much shit that I can’t quite talk about (because I don’t have permission to say it)
