Never before has it been easier to transcend the meatspace constraint of having to present a single, coherent self. You can really experiment with multiple identities and social graphs simultaneously. “Who are you” can be disintermediated. I am, truly, multiple people

I guess for lots of people it doesn’t *feel* that way, and maybe it has something to do with brain chemistry. We’re definitely also socialized to identify with our meatspace ID. I imagine all artists are people who are naturally inclined to a multiplicity of selves, hence art
