Neither wire transfers nor fax machines are particularly common requirements in the US. You presenting like this is not the first time you have ever sold software in your life is a pretty useful thing, though, if you're selling to a purchasing department.

Acceptable pushback to a Purchasing request: "Do you have a de minimis threshhold or expedited process rather than going through Vendor Qualification? Not acceptable pushback to a Purchasing request: "#%()# you I will not go through Vendor Qualification."
