I am a big fan of Sunny Leone - not particularly of her early career or even her current work, but of how she has leveraged herself, as an *outsider*, into being beloved by hundreds of millions of people. Watching the Mostly Sunny documentary, I was struck by how: - her own extended family (apart from her brother) is estranged from her - she’s *not* a part of the Bollywood power network - she has *tonnes* of haters who use her as a target - she’s very in love with her husband https://t.co/mSjmQPu4eq
in general, she just seems like such a sweet, kind, thoughtful person – she's nice to service staff, she's kind of shy, even. she likes walking her dogs, skating around in a park on ice. she's just this person trying to have a good time doing her thing and I respect that
